How to Activate Our Oxygen Delivery Unit

Accidents and emergencies can happen at any moment—so it’s always best to be prepared. Even using the most simplistic medical equipment requires some prior knowledge. By familiarizing yourself with how to activate our oxygen delivery unit beforehand, you’ll be more likely to perform in accordance to our emergency oxygen activation guidelines. That’s why we placed the R15’s emergency oxygen activation guidelines directly on the device itself. We also created the comprehensive video provided below so that you can see the device in action.

How to activate our oxygen delivery unit:

  1. Lay the oxygen generator flat on the ground, with the face where green handle is located facing upward

  2. Remove the tape from the device

  3. Pull out the mask from the top of the unit

  4. Rotate the handle to the right (clockwise) to the  line, which will initiate the constant flow of oxygen for a minimum of 15 minutes

  5. Secure the mask on the person requiring oxygen

The R15 is a safe, non-explosive emergency oxygen unit for a wide variety of emergency applications, ranging from acute airway or cardiac emergencies to people struggling to breathe from an allergic reaction, asthma attack, fainting from de-hydration or drowning incident. The R15 can be classified as an emergency oxygen system because it provides 100% humidified oxygen for up to 15-minutes at a flow rate of 6 liters per minute. This oxygen unit doesn’t require any batteries or electricity to operate and comes with an easy 3-step activation. Every second without oxygen can have detrimental results, including possible brain damage. That’s why every business, municipality, school, airport, golf course, fitness center and anywhere should be prepared with our safe and easy to use R15 oxygen device.

Our R15 device will provide emergency oxygen to the person in need when precisely following our emergency oxygen activation guidelines. Just mere minutes without oxygen can result in potential medical complications and potential brain damage, so we invented our R15 device to help reduce that risk and provide emergency oxygen during the first critical minutes before arrival of EMS/EMTs.
